Born from a dialogue between designer and artisan, the Khong Lor Vase reimagines Lao woodcraft through the lens of light and interior beauty. Inspired by the vast limestone cave of Khong Lor in Bolikhamsai Province, the piece invites the viewer to look within rather than around. Combining traditional carving with modern transparency, it remains one of the most emblematic designs conceived during the author’s artistic direction at Caruso Creations.
